As warmer weather approaches, Waterford High School’s students are preparing for the upcoming spring break vacation! Many are planning exciting trips to tropical locations or enjoying a relaxing break at home. Here are some exciting places students from Waterford High School are visiting this spring.
Ava Hume’s spring break trip to Tampa, Florida, will be a mix of relaxation and exploration. With the city’s warm temperatures, typically reaching the mid-80s in the spring. Tampa is also home to some of Florida’s most famous beaches, including St. Pete Beach
it’s the ideal destination to enjoy the outdoors. With plenty of opportunities to soak up the sun, whether you’re at the beach or walking through the city.
One of the highlights of her visit will be touring the University of Tampa, known for its popular and historic campus and beautiful architecture. The university’s location along the Hillsborough River offers views of the water right next to downtown, making it a great spot during the trip.
Parker Spencer’s spring break cruise will be an opportunity to explore several amazing destinations, each being very unique. Beginning at Costa Maya, Mexico, where you can explore ancient Mayan ruins or relax on the beach. Next, the cruise will stop at Harvest Caye, Belize, known for its clear waters and nature-filled surroundings, perfect for snorkeling or enjoying the scenery.
The ship will then stop in Cozumel, Mexico, a popular destination for its reefs and relaxing atmosphere. A location where you can, enjoy local food, or stay by the ocean. Lastly, the cruise will stop at Roatán, Honduras, one of the Bay Islands. With tropical forests and oceans, an ideal spot for outdoor activities.
Sophia Scarpa’s visit to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, promises a fun experience. Known for its coastline, she’ll have the chance to visit Fort Lauderdale Beach, which is famous for its soft sand and crystal-clear waters.
Beyond the beach, Sophia and her family can take in the local sights, such as the lush Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, perfect for nature walks and picnics. The nearby Las Olas Boulevard offers a mix of unique shops, art galleries, and dining spots.
