Girls’ soccer ended its playoff run with a 2-0 loss to Weston in the state quarterfinals with seniors Alexandria Lewis, Emma Radack, Jamie Littlefield, Summer Wyatt, Taylor Aguiar, Sally Scarpa, Mykayla Andrews, and Olesia Pounch finishing off their final season for the Lancers.

Another team that recently finished their season was the volleyball team. The girls on the volleyball team finished their season, losing to Ledyard, the eventual Class M state champions, 3-0 in the semi-finals. Seniors Sarah Lathrop, Sarah Pacheco, Jessica Krewsky, Erika Gavino, and Colleen Kane finished their final season with a divisional record of 7-1 and an overall record of 17-7.

The last of WHS’s fall teams to recently finish their season was the girls’ swimming team. They finished with a record of 6-4 in their division and 8-4 overall. Junior Meika Gathy and senior Asia Langley made first team ECC All-Stars, and sophomores Caitlin Henderson and Tori Zane made honorable mention.
