The first day of winter  rang in the last day on school in 2012; however, it also brought losses to the boys’ and girls basketball teams at the hands of Woodstock Academy in non-league action.

The boys’ team lost 68-38 on its home court. Isaiah Jones and Connor Lewis scored eight points each.  The squad is now 2-2 for the season.

The girls’ team lost 41-33 at Woodstock. Senior Megan Spellman led the squad with 15 points.  The girls’ drop to 2-5 for the season.
