The start of the school year is right around the corner. While it brings the end of summer vacation, it does bring Lancer Nation under one roof for another exciting year.

The first event of the year in freshman/new student orientation on August 20, beginning at 5:30 PM.

The first change to note about the first day of school, which is August 26, is that the hours of school have changed to 7:25 AM to 2:10 PM.

Even though it is sad to see summer go, it is good to remember what it means to be part of one of the best schools in the state.
