The five students in the photo are WHS 9^th graders Olivia Pitasi, Jessica Cleary and Carolyn Keatley and Clark Lane seventh-graders Thomas Pitasi and Jason Kenniston. The adult on the left is Catherine McCarthy, the Social Worker at the L&M Cancer Center.

Olivia started the Stronger Than Cancer fundraiser last year at CLMS, and this year she expanded it to include both schools. This year’s effort raised close to $2,000 to support cancer patients in October, and they are already talking about ways to expand it for next year. Thanks to all of you who supported the fundraising drive, and especially to everyone who is still wearing one of those rainbow-colored bracelets.
