Achieving a Goal
December 8, 2014
“Swimming is literally everything to me” Senior Asia Langley said. “I’ve been doing it for ten years now and it has shaped who I am. It’s given me confidence, a good worth ethic, and a ton of really cool friends.”
Langley recently committed to the United States Military Academy at West Point because of the opportunity to swim.
Senior Thomas Sutera signed with Siena College for baseball, and senior Connor Lewis signed with the University of Hartford for baseball.
“It’s school then baseball,” Sutera said. “I practice baseball all the time. I prepared for every game not knowing who was watching, so I had to make sure I was always ready”.
“This sport means everything to me. It really has shaped my personality and I met my brothers through baseball. For me it’s more than a game, it’s my life,” Lewis said.
Playing a sport in college is the dream of many students, and for many, this dream does not come true. Langley, Sutera, and Lewis have all worked hard to achieve this lifelong goal.
