The Ocean Science Bowl team placed third in the southern New England Quahog Bowl.

The team of seniors Mike Stankov, Lauren Shaw and Baird Welch-Collins, and juniors Julia Peay and Nicola Wiseman went undefeated in the preliminary rounds.

The team outscored its opponents 540 – 185 in the early rounds.

The team made it to the semi-finals where it lost a close game to last year’s championship team Ledyard High School.  Ledyard came in second to Cranston West High School.
