In May, WaterfordDrama will be performing a production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie.”

This musical is the story of a small town girl name Mille, who moves to the city in search of love, preferably of a rich man. Yet, when she falls in love with a man who turns out to be poor, there is a humorous twist of events.

This is the first musical for which Senior Christopher Leffert has had the privilege of being cast.

He said, “The spring musical has made great progress. There are some ups and downs to the rehearsals, but everything is coming along great. Everyone should definitely come see this play.”

Shane Valley, who runs the drama department,  said, “If there was an ECC’s for drama groups, Waterford would be the best.”
